Former Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leader Danish Ali, who joined the Congress last week, has been fielded from Uttar Pradesh's Amroha. Mr Ali, the sitting MP from Amroha, was suspended from the BSP for "anti-party activities Kunwar Danish Ali is an Indian politician and a Member of parliament, Lok Sabha for Amroha, Uttar Pradesh since 2019. With around Rs 214.77 crore worth of property, the 63-year-old former Member of Parliament from Amroha and Delhi-based real estate developer Kanwar Singh Tanwar of BJP is the richest candidate for second phase polls in in Uttar Pradesh.
